An Unexpected Fall Piece You'll Love

I always say I like to try new things and push my style a bit from the normal. That's exactly what I did with this lantern sleeve button front piece from Shein. It's actually categorized as a "coat" but it definitely plays off as a dress in my opinion and that's exactly how I styled it. I'm not a big fan of yellow but I wanted to try something different and I love the pairing of the burgundy boots with it because it makes it such a fall appropriate look. My husband definitely had a laugh because he said this piece reminded him of "The Ancient One" from the Dr. Strange Marvel movies (Google it). I'm not going to lie I got a good laugh out of that joke too, heck it could have made a bomb costume idea. I ordered my normal size L but I recommend sizing down if you want to order this pieces because it did fit me a bit big. The belt around the waist definitely helped. This piece is unexpected for my wardrobe and I can't wait to challenge myself on how I can style this again differently.
