Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I'll keep this post short and sweet today.
I wanted to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving. There's always something to be thankful for, not just today but every day. Life is short so we should cherish every day and let the petty things roll off our backs. Enjoy each day as if it was our last because tomorrow is not a guarantee. The older I've gotten, I've learned to appreciate every bit of life because it goes by fast.
What are you guys thankful for?

5 things i'm thankful for:
-God, for lighting my path everyday
-my health
-my amazing husband
-my family and friends
-my amazing PK readers for allowing to share something I love

I'll be spending the day with my family today just eating, drinking and laughing, and cherishing every moment.
How are you guys spending today?

I wanted to share a recap of my little trip this past weekend with you guys.

Remix Post: Red Jeans

Hi guys...I'm back!!
Mexico was so much fun! I can't wait to share a little Mexico recap of everything I did.
Today, I have a remix post for you guys.

These red jeans are one of my favorites. I love to wear them around the holidays because they are so bright but I had a little oops and shrunk them recently so I'm not sure if they will make an appearance this holiday season coming up. lol For now, here's 3 different ways on how to rock them.

Look 1 (left) - This look was during my second month of blogging in my "Over-sized Houndstooth" post. I created a simple meets chic look with a cardigan and some strappy heels. This is one of my favorite looks because I love mixing red with black and white prints.

Look 2 (middle) - This look was a winter look in my "Lady in Red" post. A white button down, red jeans and booties is a great ensemble when trying to pull off a casual winter/fall look. I paired it with my plaid jacket for a nice inclusion of print to the entire look.

Look 3 (right) - "50 Shades of Red". This is another one of my favorites. I created the illusion of a one piece red suit with these two separates. I loved the outcome! I paired it with black and white accents to dial down the fiery red one piece I created.

Which look is your favorite? Comment below.

Blogiversary: PK Turns One + Giveaway

Welcome back guys!!!
Did you miss me? Welcome to the new redesigned site! I really hope you guys like it.
It was a bit of a process, especially if you're a perfectionist like me but it was all worth it.
I love the results. My blog was in need of a little makeover and what better time to do it than with today's special post?

Today... Patty's Kloset turns 1! (cue the balloons and confetti lol) Yeahhhhh! It actually turned one yesterday, November 9th, but I wanted to put the post up today since I was still working on last minute things for the re-design yesterday. I love to give 100% to anything that I do, and I feel like giving some new clothes to my blog is something that really deserved it.

I hope you guys enjoy today's lengthy post and make it until the end because I have a GIVEAWAY for you all to show my appreciation!

I feel like it was yesterday that I signed up for Blogger and decided to create a blog. I guess it's true when they say that time flies when you're having fun. In this whole blogging world, I learned a few things on a personal level and professional level.
I started this blog to share my crazy bargain escapades. A lot of my friends and family couldn't believe the things I used to find for extremely low prices. This whole blogging journey has taught me how to go after what you want in life and don't let anyone ever stop you. Its, also, taught me that you should never let anyone make you feel like you don't deserve everything you want. It's taught me how to be patient and that I can do anything I put my mind to. Your comments humble me everyday, and I couldn't be more grateful for all of you. It's, also, taught me how to come out of my shell. When I first started the blog, I was a little hesitant. So many questions popped into my head: what will my friends think? will anybody read this?
I've always been the "behind the scenes" kind of girl. My blog has let me step in front of the camera and showcase myself in a different way than what i'm used to. It's, also, reaffirmed one of my core values; As long as I'm having fun and am comfortable with myself, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
I love the many amazing friends that I've met on this journey as well. It's great to meet people that are passionate about the same things that you are and who motivate each other. Everyone that i've collaborated with, networked with, carpooled with, have all been so awesome.

What's next for PK?
I'm not exactly where I want to be but I'm closer to it than I was yesterday. I still remember shooting for my first post with my iPhone, across the street from my home and had no idea about the ropes behind blogging. Just like life, everything is a learning process. My best advice to anyone starting a blog, or really anything new, is don't compare your chapter 1 to someone else's chapter 20. Everything is a process; don't just go through it, grow through it.

So cheers to many more years of PK, full of fun outfits, love, opportunities, and more shoes!!
Duhh, always more shoes!! lol

Vibrant Red

Hi guys!
Hope everyone is having a great week!

I shot this outfit a few weeks ago and didn't have a chance to post until now.
It was an unseasonably warm day & very minimal layers were needed (compared to today lol).
This outfit is what I like to call my uniform. Ripped jeans and a blazer is a combination I just can't get enough of. This red blazer is from Forever21 and I've had it for a few years now. It's been a practical blazer in my Kloset. Its such a bright vibrant red! It has come in handy a few times and I love to wear it, especially around the holidays. It adds a festive vibe to any holiday outfit.

I paired the blazer with a plain white shirt and these comfy ripped jeans. I decided to go full red and add these studded strappy heels. A little red on red never hurt anybody. This outfit is what I like to call simple and chic.

Outfit Details:

Blazer - Forever21 (similar here)
Jeans - old (also love these)
White Tank - Target
Shoes - (get them here)

Hope you guys enjoy the rest of your week!
I will be reconstructing my blog so I'll be back in a few days.
I have a special post coming and can't wait to share with you guys!

Thank you for always reading my blog and showing my Kloset some love.
I truly appreciate it!!
