Fierce Fridays

Happy Friday!!!
Wooo hoo! cheers to the weekend!
Here's a little fierce Friday action.

I love edgy, punk rock looks mixed with a little bit of chic. The best looks are always the ones that are unplanned. I knew I wanted to wear these studded booties again but I wasn't sure how I wanted to do it this time. I paired them with white jeans and a black and white striped blouse. I love the versatility of this blouse. I wore it to my company's Christmas party last year with a pencil skirt. This time, I made it look a little bit more edgy by pairing it with this faux leather jacket. I'm starting to lose count of how many times I've worn this jacket but I love it. However, I think its time next season it rests in peace lol.
To finish the look I went with a gold clutch and gold and pink accessories. I love the way the pink on the accessories and lipstick popped. The hair played a role in the punk outfit I was trying to achieve. That's my attempt at a mini mohawk lol.
The lipstick I'm wearing is "candy yum yum" by Mac, which I recently have discovered I'm allergic to Mac lipsticks so I won't be wearing this one again. If anyone knows another brand thats similar to this pink please comment below because I'm in love with this color.

Spring Neutrals

Happy humpday!
I'm glad the alleged snowstorm that was coming our way missed us. I don't think I can handle anymore snow.
This look is the perfect post for today to keep me in a spring mode like it was this past weekend.

I love the spring weather because you can throw on a light sweater and not be too hot or too cold. I traded in my distressed denim (my obsession) for a pair of drawstring trousers. I really love the creme nude color. I feel they can match pretty much anything.
I was going for a very neutral spring look and the pants were a perfect match. I love the gold details on the zippered pockets; don't they give the outfit a chic finish? I paired the pants with a peachy color sweater and my gold metallic pumps. Nothing wrong with incorporating a little metallics into your spring look.
I gave the look a little pop of print with this brown cheetah print bag. I almost forgot I had this bag in my kloset and I've fallen in love with it all over again lol. Sometimes its like shopping in your own kloset when you found something you haven't seen in a while. lol Lastly, I wore a pastel colored necklace to fit my springy vibe.

Basic Chic

Back to Monday!
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Mine was busy with wedding errands but I was able to shoot my outfits that I wore over the weekend. I love this look because I'm able to bring basic items together, like a printed tee with jeans, and create a chic look while still being comfortable.

I wanted to be comfortable but didn't wan't to look frumpy. When the weather is nice, I get super inspired to dress up. This Saturday, since it was a nice one. I felt the spring air. I'm a big fan of graphic tees and I love this "I am a Chica Fashion" one. I did a previous post with it focusing on this shirt here.  I purchased it from lovely fellow blogger babe Alicia. Definitely check out her blog Chica- Fashion and get your graphic tee; it also comes with an awesome statement necklace.

I paired my tee with black acid wash jeans. I love the way you can really see the details on the jeans when photographed. The weather was great so I only needed a blazer to walk out the door. I love the bright royal blue on this one and it was a perfect match with the jeans.

I opted for a small wallet clutch instead of a purse. It was just one of those days (*Monica voice) where I didn't want to carry my whole life in a purse lol. This yellow one gave the outfit a little color - block. Fashion Tip Of The Day: don't be afraid to play around with some color this spring. To finish the look, I wore lace up open toe heels. These are so comfortable that I can seriously run in them. Last but not least, I'm so obssesed with these mirror sunnies! I seriously can't take them off lol I love the color; they surely say spring!

Happy Tuesday loves!
Hope everyone is having a good week and had a great weekend.
I had a very busy weekend so I wasn't able to get much shoots in. The closer the wedding gets the more busier I get. (89 days!)  I was able to get this very simple look in; sometimes simple is all you need.

The crazy thing about March is that one day it's 55 and the next day is 25 degrees. Foolish me, I thought my scarf days were over but with this bipolar weather I can't put them away yet. I wore my houndstooth print scarf to give the simple outfit a little pop of print. I always forget I have this scarf in the tornado of scarves I have hanging in my room.
I wore a pair of semi dark denim jeans paired with a bright orange sweater. I love the material of this sweater because it's SUPER soft. I honestly feel like I'm wrapped up in a soft comforter. lol I didn't wear any heavy accessories because I wanted to keep the look clean and simple.
To finish the look, I wore houndstooth print pumps. I was very excited to get these because its one of my favorite prints and I just needed them on shoes! I can't wait to style them again.

Comfy Sweater

Hi Everyone!
Happy Friday! Cheers to the weekend.
Boy, do I love a comfy sweater! As spring approaches and layers come off, I wanted to show you a chic outfit with a comfy sweater.

I love the big leopard print on this sweater. Leopard is the new neutral. It seriously goes with anything. It's another one of my obsessions. I got this sweater on sale from Forever 21 on a 50% off sale. There's many cute sweaters on sale as the stores begin making room for their spring collections. I paired the sweater with white jeans for a fresh transition into spring. I love white jeans; they're good all season long in my opinion. Since the weather was nice it was time to bring the toes out. lol I love these black single sole heels they are simple and chic.
To add a little color I wore a red shoulder purse. I was undecided when purchasing this small purse and I'm glad I did, because I've gotten so much use out of it already.
Fashion Tip of the Day: Transitioning your kloset from winter to spring can be done gradually and easy. Pairing a sweater with open toe heels gives you a little bit of both worlds.

Shoe- Grams

Hi everyone!
It's time for my occasional shoe grams! If the shoe fits, buy two pairs right? lol

(Left) -These awesome babies are from UrbangOG. They just scream spring, right? I'm really loving the mesh and floral mix. It's different and very chic. Those babies need to find their way to my Kloset soon for Spring.

(Right) - These simple red pumps are from MakeMeChic. I feel like I needed a new pair of classic red pumps, and for $22 they were absolutely perfect. I love this sites' shoes because they have an awesome selection of shoes for a affordable prices.

(Left) - My hubby surprised me with these red shoes from Forever21, along with this red dress. I love surprises, especially when they involve shoes lol. I will be packing this outfit for my honeymoon;  this makes a great night time dinner outfit.

(Right) - These babies are from MakeMeChic. I wasn't kidding when I said they have awesome shoes lol. These are one of my favorites. Ladies, they are so chic and elegant. I wore these on my Printed Blazer post.

(Left) - These were a gift from my cousin for Christmas. This past Christmas was the first time my familia did a secret santa and she got me. Of course she knew what to get me. lol These cute heels are from Kohls . Also, check out her new blog if you need all types of hair and nails advice.

(Right) - These silver pumps are from Forever21. There's a funny story behind how I got these shoes. They were in the front of the store on sale for $15 and they only had a few selected sizes left. I was super excited because I had been looking for the right silver pumps. I checked and even had my hubby check for my size. I was very disappointed that they didn't have my size. I notice there was one more pair; they were under the display table and it was not easy to grab. I put my MacGyver skills to the test; I grabbed a hanger and got my hand under the table and was able to get them. Sure enough they were my size. lol What's the craziest thing you've done for shoes? Please leave a comment below so I don't feel to crazy about my story.

(Left) - These awesome wedges are a recent purchase from DebShops. I can't wait for Spring; they are so bright! I love them! Wedges are comfy and perfect to dress up for good weather. (countdown to Spring!)

(Right) - These neon babies are from Charlotte Russe. Can't go wrong with some neon color in your Kloset. It will bring your outfit to life with a bold pop!

Thanks all for tuning in to my Shoe Grams! Until the next one everybody! Remember:  life's too short so just buy the damn shoe. :)

A Feminine Touch

Happy Humpday!
Hope everyone is having a great week.
I wore this outfit this past weekend to church. The weather was great and I love dressing up for church sometimes; this was one of those days.

I love this pink tulle skirt! It's so girly and feminine. I've had this skirt for a while and I was just waiting for the perfect occasion and temperature. I love full skirts slightly over the knees and this one, especially, because its so classy and flirty. I paired the skirt with a light crop top sweater from H&M. Although it was nice and sunny, it was still a little breezy as you can see by my hair flying in the pictures. The sweater fit perfectly. I love the feel of the sweater; its very soft. I wore this top during Nolcha Fashion week with red harem pants but I wasn't able to shoot my outfit that day. I'm hoping to re-wear it on the blog again soon. Let me know if you have any suggestions for how I should style it; I love being inspired by you guys.
To add some edge to this outfit I wore a faux leather jacket. I love it paired with the skirt; to me, it's feminine meets edge. Such a great combo! To finish the look, I went with some ankle strap heels that fit perfectly. I wanted to add a contrasting color to blend well with skirt so I wore this electric blue clutch from Furormoda. I didn't notice until just now, but it matched my toe nails. lol (total coincidence)

Red Accents

Happy Monday!
One day closer to Spring, and we had a nice weekend weather wise.
This outfit was the perfect Sunday brunch outfit.

I love simple outfits; I, also, love adding simple accents to bring the outfit to life. I paired my chambray top, which I've worn a million times in so many different ways, with a pair of distressed denim. I think by now we know my distressed denim obsession lol. I love these because they are high waisted. I don't have many high waisted jeans but I fell in love with these and they are a perfect start to spring. To bring the outfit to life, I added red accents. I originally wanted to pair this outfit with neon pink accents because the nice weather had me feeling spring ready but I've been on a hunt to find a neon pink belt. I've been very unsuccessful. Nevertheless, the bold red worked very well. It meshed so well with the red lippie. I got this one from Mac (Ruby Woo) and it's one of my brightest reds now. I just love it; it's really the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.
It was a little chilly so I added my houndstooth print coat. Little by little we are shedding the layers and it was nice to leave the scarf behind.
