Showering Baby Girl

I wanted to share this post a few weeks ago but I'm finally getting around to it. Showering baby girl was such a fun a day and I wanted to share some photos from that day. I didn't have a theme in mind but I knew for sure I wanted pink a gold together. Those colors just mesh so well together! I'm a super hands-on person and also crafty so this shower wasn't a surprise. Hey that's just me I always like my hands in things especially anything party related. I love doing decorations and putting party stuff together.

The location was in a nice venue back home in New Jersey. It made the most sense because 85% of our family and friends live in NY/ NJ. My amazing grandmother made the cake and the sweet table full of delicious sweet treats. She's so talented and it makes me so emotional knowing she's made every birthday cake for me since I was 1, my wedding cake, and now my baby shower cake. That means so much to me! My family was very helpful in setting up and I'm very appreciative of that.

I didn't have any baby shower games because it was only for 4 hours and I just wanted people to dance and have a good time. It was also a good time for my husband and I to catch up with old friends we hadn't seen in forever. We did, however, have a diaper raffle. My sister-in-law had suggested that and it was such a great idea. Anyone who brought diapers got a raffle ticket to win a gift card. We got so many diapers! Our house is stacked with diapers everywhere. I'm sure that will come in handy soon.

For my look, I wanted something with lace and ended up ordering a dress online that didn't fit. I was freaking out a bit because it was close to the shower and felt like I wasn't going to find something else on time. Well, Amazon to the rescue! I ended up finding this peachy lace dress that fit like a glove. My husband's suit was also from Amazon and I loved the way it looked on him! A big shout out to my sister for doing my eye makeup! She's super talented and I was just too tired that day to even remotely do my makeup. #pregnantproblems

Sorry for the picture overload, hope you guys enjoy these pictures!

Real Life Pregnancy Talk - 36 Weeks

The last few weeks have been so trying for me as I'm in the end game of this pregnancy. I have never been one to be a Debbie downer or complain all the time but these last few weeks have been hard. The baby kicks have been so hard to the point I cry when she kicks me in my rib and I feel that sharp pain down my back. I haven't been sleeping because those kicks keep me up all night. I go to sleep at 11pm with my husband and wake up at 6am with him and in-between all those hours I probably get 3 hours of sleep. I'm not able to the things I like to do or that keep my mind of things like clean, organize, and do my job, blog. It's hard to sit or even lay down during the day. Only way baby feels comfortable is my standing up and I get it because it's getting crowded in there for both of us. I look at the calendar every day like a clock because yes I'm very excited to meet baby girl but I also am tired of being frustrated and in pain these last few weeks.

I voiced my frustration to my husband and felt so guilty saying it out loud. I don't want people to think I'm being ungrateful for this beautiful miracle God has blessed me with. But just because I'm growing a human doesn't mean I'm not human and feel physical pain. My husband always knows how to make me feel better and told me my feelings are valid. My frustration doesn't mean I love my baby girl any less. I had my 36-week appointment yesterday and also voiced how I felt to my doctor and she said: "heck I hated being pregnant!" I literally laughed out loud. She told me some people make out pregnancy to be this easy thing from start to finish and for some people it is but it's not like that for everyone. It's totally ok to feel the way I'm feeling.

Somehow since yesterday I feel so much better and wanted to share this on my platform without feeling guilty about people judging me. Heck, there might be other mama's to be out there who feel the same or mama's who went through the same thing during pregnancy. I really do feel so much better now that I have shared it out loud. If any other mamas felt or feel this way would love to hear about your pregnancy experience.

My Maternity Shoot

"You are my definition of perfect"💗

I'm so excited to share these photos with you guys! I had such a hard time narrowing them down because I seriously loved them all. I can't believe in 5 weeks or less we get to meet our little precious baby and become first time parents. I'm dying to know who she looks like, how much hair she will have, how does her crying sound. Carrying her in me is such a miracle and I thank God every day for her.

The kicks are getting harder, it's so hard to sleep at night, and I don't possibly think my skin can stretch anymore. It's been a tough last few weeks as I head into the final stretch but if I had to do it all over again just for baby girl I would.

Come out any day now, baby girl, we are excited to meet you!

Oh hey, remember me? I feel like it's been so long since my last blog post. I promised to keep up with my blog posts but that's been so hard to do the closer we get to the baby's arrival. If you follow me on Insta then you have been keeping up with my updates there. I'm currently 6 weeks away from my due date and have been running around and getting things in order for the baby's arrival. Who knew there was so much to do for a tiny little person. My baby shower was also last weekend and we drove back home to shower baby girl with friends and family. I had so much fun at the shower and can't wait to share all the details in a post for you guys.

We recently finished her nursery and I'm hoping to take pictures and share on here as well. I think my husband and I did a great job of creating a nursery in a one bedroom apartment. Seriously can't wait to share that post! So as you can see in a nutshell it's been a crazy couple of weeks at the Osorio household.

I'm so excited for today's post because I love sharing products I love and brands I trust. As I'm 10 weeks (or less) away from my baby girls arrival I'm starting to stock up her nursery with all the essentials. I'm no stranger to the Dove family because it's a brand I used in my beauty routine for a long time. That is why it's a no-brainer for me to add Baby Dove to my baby girl's routine. Their cleansers and lotions are made with 100% skin-natural nutrients for your baby's delicate skin. I love products that are gentle on a baby's sensitive skin and that are made without dyes or parabens. Even though there is no right way to parent, I think taking care of your baby's skin is extremely important and Baby Dove offers a superior way to do so.

If you mammas haven't tried Baby Dove, then now is the perfect time! A baby's skin is more at risk during dangerous sun rays so being on top of your baby's skin protection is key. My baby girl will arrive mid/end of summer and I'm ready to protect her skin with these great products that moisturize and nourish.

The Baby Dove Rich Moisture line of products includes everything you need to care for baby’s skin. Baby Dove Rich Moisture Shampoo keeps baby’s scalp moisturized with a hypoallergenic and mild formula that’s also paraben free. The fragrance is specially designed for baby’s delicate skin and it’s made with 100 percent skin-natural nutrients.

Baby Dove’s Rich Moisture Baby Bar provides more moisture than ordinary baby soap bars, and has gentle cleansers that help replenish skin lipids that keep baby's delicate skin healthy. If you’d rather use a wash, Baby Dove Rich Moisture Tip to Toe Wash is a great choice. It contains nutrients that are 100% identical to those found naturally in skin, and goes beyond mildness to help replenish the essential moisture and nutrients of the skin lost through bathing and produces a rich lather than keeps skin feeling clean.

Finish up your cleaning routine with Baby Dove Rich Moisture Baby Lotion, which soothes dry skin from the first use and gently moisturizes baby’s skin all day.

And Baby Dove Rich Moisture Baby Wipes are perfect for diaper changes and beyond. They are as gentle as water and great for cleansing all over.

Don't you just love trusted brands with amazing benefits for your baby's skin? I also have a coupon here you guys can use to save on future Baby Dove products.

I'm so happy to be apart of the mommy community and get to share my favorite baby products with other mommies out there. I definitely recommend Baby Dove to any moms and moms-to-be. I think these product benefits are amazing for your little ones. Have any of you tried any Baby Dove products? Which ones are your favorite?
