The Dress That Can Be Worn For Every Occasion | LBD

I'm currently doing a "fashion pieces every woman should own" series on my Reels on Instagram and next up is an LBD. I swear it's such a classic piece to have because it matches anything, and can save you for any occasion when you have nothing to wear. It's a classic piece that will never go out of style. Today's lbd I'm styling is a high neck bodycon dress from SHEIN. This dress is basic but I love it so much. I think it's chic and I love that it's form fitting. I paired it with a pair of boots and you can literally throw any coat over it to complete a winter look.

A Chic Knit Sweater For Winter

I recently got a few new knit sweaters in my wardrobe and I'm so excited about them. I feel like you can't survive winter without a good few knit sweaters for winter. This button cuff turtleneck sweater from SHEIN is everything! I love the button details on the cuff and the pretty color. I'm currently loving nudes and all brown shades right now so sorry in advance if you see a lot of this color. I paired it with my current favorite denim and a pair of booties. I feel like that is your typical winter bases. Haha! This sweater comes in a variety of colors and I will definitely be getting it in more colors. I just love this sweater so much!

THAT FRESH NEW YEAR FEELING!

Nothing like that fresh new year feeling!

I absolutely love the start of the year it's like a brand new book with 365 pages for you to write. It goes without saying that 2020 was a hard year in different aspects for everyone but one thing to keep in mind is that we are alive. There's so many lessons I learned last year like to be grateful for the little things. You have no idea how much I miss a hug from my grandmother, sister, or cousin. I had no idea that back in January of last year when I was at my cousins wedding would be the last time I would be hugging and being around my family members just having a good old time. I also learned to let go of things or people that don't bring value to me and also ties into learning how to trust my intuition. What's one thing you learned in 2020 that you will apply in the new year?

This year aside from specific goals and things I want for myself and business I'm also focused on manifestation and a self journey to be more tuned with myself. I always have a hard time with that and trusting my intuition. I want to try meditating and reading more self help books. Last year I opened my eyes to a friendship that was deadweight and decided to let it go. It felt so free to trust myself and know I made the right decision.

I hope 2021 is the year you go out and get what your heart desires. Don't forget to be grateful for what you already have in the mindset of getting what we want!

Cheers to the freaking NEW YEAR! 🎉

Peace Out 2020!

I think I can speak for everyone when I say peace out 2020! Seriously what a year of uncertainty and sadness but at the same time growth and appreciation. I'm very excited for the new year and manifest the things I want to achieve professionally and personally. I hope 2021 is an amazing year to everyone I feel like we all need it from dealing with 2020.

Posting my last blog post of the year in this fabulous outfit because that's the expectation I want from 2021. I'm wearing an organza sleeve crop top from Femme Luxe. The top was a bit shorter than what I expected so I improvised with a black tank underneath. I love that it looks like one piece but definitely the sleeves gives the look a nice pick me up. They have an amazing collection of organza tops and this was perfect for my NYE look.

Getting Ready For The New Year

It feels like 5 years have passed in 2020 but at the same time it kind of flew by. As we near the end of this year I'm starting to prepare for the new year ahead. I'm taking all the lessons I learned this year and taking it with me to 2021. The week leading up to the new year I love to start prepping my mindset by getting all my new year stationary and getting my vision board ready. Is there anything you guys do to prep your goals for the new year? There's one big personal goal I want to achieve in 2021 and you better believe I'm going to manifest the heck out of it until I get it!

On another note, are you guys doing the dressed up thing for NYE or ringing in the new year in pjs/loungewear? I'm committed to doing the dress up thing even if it's just to sit in the living room. Today's look is an amazing dress bodycon midi from Femme Luxe. They have an amazing collection of midi dresses and this one was a must for me. I feel like it makes a great NYE outfit even if it's for the living room celebration.

2020 The Year of Loungewear

If you would have told me around January that this year I was going to wear more loungewear than actual dresses up clothes I probably would have laughed at you. 2020 has seriously  been the year of loungewear! Don't get me wrong I love me a good set of loungewear but never expected for it be the main character of my wardrobe for 2020. I have been getting the majority of my loungewear attire from Femme Luxe. I share their clothes all the time and these white and black marble print joggers are from their joggers collection and I love how comfy they are. I'm pairing them with a plain tank and a grey cardigan for a comfy home outfit. I love their joggers so much and I love the variety of colors and styles they have.
