I must say this is one of my current favorite outfits!
I recently found this top at Buffalo Exchange and it was love at first sight. If you haven't heard of this store they are an awesome thrift shop and they have a buy and sell exchange. They have so many gems for an awesome price. I found out about BF when I visited DC two years ago and now that I live in DC I practically go all the time. Lol. They have so many locations so check out their site, they might have a location near you.
When I saw the polka dot top I knew I wanted to create a spring outfit. Floral is such a common print for spring so I want to do more spring looks this season away from floral. The blouse has a neck tie which is such a popular trend. Do you guys love this trend? I sure do, it gives a plain blouse a little touch of chic. I paired the top with white denim for more of a spring feel and also made the polka dots stand out more. I added a pop of red, which gave the look a good contrast color. I originally was going to pair it which nude shoes and a nude clutch but I'm glad I went with the red instead.
On another note, I was able to create a mini bun with my hair! I wanted a different hair look for a change. I'm getting a little bored with my hair and I think it's because I haven't gotten a hair cut since I moved down here. I don't just trust anyone with scissors near my hair. For now these up do's will do. Lol.
