Face Time: Freeman Masks

Wednesday, January 21, 2015

Today I'm bringing you guys a little beauty post. Make up is off and it's all about skin care today. I always said a flawless make up look comes from taking care of your skin. Every Sunday I always like to take a little beauty time and do a mask on my face to kind of clean off all the week's make up and refresh my skin. I leave them on for about 7-8 minutes and just wash it off with lukewarm water. After that I just let my skin breathe for the rest of day and add a little night time moisturizer before bed.

I really love all the Freeman Feeling Beautiful Masks! I really feel they work best on my skin. Have any of guys tried any of their products? I wanted to share with you guys my take on these three I've tried so far; avocado and oatmeal, charcoal & black sugar, and cucumber. They have a ton more varieties if you wanted to try a few different ones.

Clay Mask - Avocado & Oatmeal

This was one of the first ones I had bought from the whole line a few months back. Avocado and oatmeal ingredients? That sold me right away. Those are two ingredients I know are good for the skin so I had to try it out. It's a mask and it goes on real smooth. It starts to stiffen up on your skin in an instant. It purges your pores and feels very refreshing on your skin.

Peel-off Mask -Cucumber

This one I like to use more towards the warmer days because it leaves a super cool refreshing feeling after you peel it off. The minute you put it on you feel the cooling sensation, like you really have cucumbers on your face. This one is a clear substance so it almost looks like you don't have anything on your face. Lol. I love that it's a peel off so you don't have to wash anything away afterwards. One thing I must say is that if you have some facial hair you might not like peeling this off because it will hurt. I have minor facial hair on my cheeks and when I peel it off it hurts a bit.

Polishing Mask- Charcoal & Black Sugar

This one is my absolute favorite one out of the three. The texture is very grainy and the minute you put it on there's a warm sensation. I almost feel like someone is massaging my face with a warm towel. I feel like this one gives me the best results. When I rinse it off, I exfoliate a little bit by rubbing it in my face. I, also, love the smell of it because it smells very sugary and sweet.

Have you guys tried any of these? They are super inexpensive and can be found in your local drug stores.

Hope you guys enjoyed this beauty post.

Thanks for stopping by and remember: the best make up looks start with good skin care.
