I'm being very optimistic and hoping that we can still have some kind of summer this year. I fell like this quarantine has changed me. I'm usually the realist in my household and somehow I've turned into the optimist. I've come this close to losing my marbles during this quarantine quite a few times. Although I know things will never be the same and speaking for me, once the stay at home order is lifted I won't be the first one out in places. PTSD is a real thing and I think we all will suffer some kind of it after this Pandemic ends. Nonetheless, I'm hoping we can still enjoy some what of summer 2020 and enjoy a different scenery other than our four walls (for those that live in apartments) or backyards.
Today's look is one of my favorite trends this year which I'm sporting in my backyard. The monochrome trend has always been a favorite of mine because dressing in the same hue from head to toe is so chic to me. This pink ribbed floral mesh sleeve top is from Femme Luxe and it's the perfect top if you ask me. I'm big fan of statement sleeves and their mesh top collection has so many amazing ones. This top will give your outfit a statement no matter what you pair it with. I decided to go for a monochromatic look and paired the top with pink trousers. I felt as if these two pieces were meant for each other. It's also the illusion that you want to give off when you are creating a monochrome look. If I was going out with this look or shooting this in a different setting I would have probably worn white booties or shoes but since the occasion calls for the backyard these days I just wore a pair of flat sandals.
