LIFEWTR, 7-eleve, drinks, water, thirsty, lifestyle, purified water, working from home, how to stay motivated

If you have been following me for a while now, then you know that I made the decision to turn my blog into my full-time job not so long ago. I had been doing the whole corporate 9-to-5 thing since I was 20 years old. After a while, I felt like my life was missing more than just a job; it felt like it was missing a place where I could just be creative. I was lucky enough to have turned my blog into my career, and I could not be happier.

As a person who’s done both, I must say that coming from that structured life and transitioning to my now routine, work-from-home life has been a pretty big change. You really are your own boss and there’s no one telling you when deadlines are, throwing work on your desk to complete or holding a power team meeting to keep you motivated. As your own boss, you need to get yourself out there and create opportunities for yourself, because the proverbial buck starts and stops with you. Opportunities for advancement don’t just drop into your lap. Working from home definitely has its perks, but oftentimes you can lose that spark of innovation and the energy required to power through your day. Some of that energy I can now find while shopping for LIFEWTR at 7-Eleven.

As a content creator, I need to keep myself motivated, so I often find that I have to give myself that added boost and find unique ways to draw inspiration. Keep on reading and see how I stay motivated while working from home.

Office Space
My day usually starts at 8 a.m. with the checking of my emails and with the initial posts on social media. After that, I begin drafting my blog posts because I’ve learned that I always do my best writing in the mornings. I do all this work from my desk and never from my couch. The couch can literally sink you in and make you feel so unproductive. It was very important for me to create a little office space when I made the decision to work from home. It makes a huge difference and physically makes you feel like you’re in an actual office.

Breaks
A break is always necessary to re-charge; no breaks lead to more burnout, and if you risk burnout, you risk a dip in your production. Around noon I take a break, and one thing that definitely helps me is getting out of the house for fresh air. That nice little break gives me a way to unplug from my laptop and I actually remember there is a world out there! I have a good number of stores within walking distance from my apartment, so when the weather is nice, I walk to 7-Eleven to grab snacks and drinks. One of my favorite drinks, which I can conveniently purchase at 7-Eleven, is LIFEWTR, a premium bottled water. What I love most about it is that it’s a brand that fuses creativity and design while providing me with a source of inspiration and hydration. It’s purified and pH balanced, with electrolytes that are added for taste.

Clean Desk
Another great motivator for me is a clean desk! A cluttered desk means a cluttered mind. I only keep things on my desk that will help me stay inspired and get my creative juices flowing. Whether it is flowers on the edge, my vision board above, or a framed quote, my desk needs to be pretty straightforward. Now, even my LIFEWTR makes a daily appearance next to my laptop, since it is my new go-to for staying hydrated and imaginative during the day. The bottles provide a stunning canvas for art and design with perky colors created by up-and-coming artists. As a creator myself, I think that is pretty cool and inspiring.

  1. I've never heard of that brand of water before, maybe we don't have it here in Australia? Good tips about working from home though. I think the best part of working from home for me was being able to just step outside for some fresh air any time of day. Tricker to do when you work in an office as you need to walk a little bit away from all the smokers out the front of buildings!

Hope you are having a lovely start to the week so far.
