Over the weekend it was the peak bloom of the cherry blossoms here in D.C. However, due to this crazy weather and that last snowfall we got not to long ago they weren't looking very pink and bloom as they normally look. People usually head into Tidal Basin by the Potomac River to see all of themin all of their beauty. On Friday the weather was a little crazy because it rained for a bit and although the weather guy told us it was going to be warm it definitely did not feel that way to me. Instead of heading into downtown D.C., I stumbled upon a nice little community not to far from my house with lots and lots cherry blossom trees. Even though they weren't fully pink and bloomed as prior years it was still worth taking a few pictures.

This was the perfect time to bring out this pink floral embroidered bomber jacket. I had it for a while but I just didn't quite know how I wanted to style it. I definitely had another way in mind with a denim skirt, but like I said the weatherman lied to us because it wasn't as warm as he said. I paired it with a sea green tee underneath which just so happens to be my husbands. lol. Yes I steal his tees from time to time. I really didn't want to pair the jacket with the obvious color, white, so my husband's colored tee came in handy. I kept the look super simple and casual with a pair of light wash denim and some open toe shoes.
I feel like I have been having a moment with bomber jackets lately especially embroidered ones. I'm really obsessed with embroidered everything. How do you guys feel about that trend?
