Some people think wearing all black is a snooze fest. I must admit in my younger days I was never a fan of dressing in all black but the older I got I embraced neutral palettes and black. Seriously black is my jam! It's incredible the amount of black my wardrobe has. I use to think it was a boring option but it can totally look badass or chic. Sometimes I feel like a modern bad ass Wednesday Addams when I wear all black. Haha!
Keep on reading this post and check out some tips on how to wear all black and not look boring.

One of my first tips in making all black stand out is to vary your outfit's texture. Nothing says boring than an all black look with the same texture from head to toe. For my look I wore denim, a ribbed top, a faux leather moto jacket, and suede boots. The different textures broke up the black making the look a little more exciting. So next time, don't opt for cotton from head to toe mix it up and you will see the difference in your look. Adding accessories is another great way to stand out. My boots did the accessory talk for me with the three strap gold buckle around it. These are an oldie but still my favorite pair of boots. I also added sunglasses to accessorize and a red lip. A pop of color is a great way to accessorize an all black look. If you don't want to add a pop of color with a bag or shoes a little color on your lips can go a long way.
I had so much fun shooting this look because there are so many beautiful hidden gems in Georgetown. It's my favorite place to shoot. Lots of beautiful homes and colored doors and you already know how I feel about colored doors lol.
How do you guys feel about all black looks?
