Happy Thanksgiving | 5 Things I'm Grateful For

Thanksgiving, plaid, happy thanksgiving, holiday wear

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving. I hope you all enjoy this day with your loved ones and stuff your faces with lots of food (I know I will!). There is always something to be thankful for, not just today but everyday. The older I've gotten the more I appreciate life, my family and the people
around me. I'm currently in route back home (New York/ New Jersey) to spend thanksgiving with my family. I absolutely can't wait to hug them all, dance and eat some home cooked food. For the weekend,  I'm going to celebrate FriendsGiving with my husband and some friends in the Poconos. I've never been to the Poconos nor celebrated a Friendsgiving. This is going to be so much fun and I hope it becomes a tradition!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, I'm sharing with you guys 5 things I'm grateful for (in no particular order) in this post. What are you grateful for?

5 Things I'm Grateful for:

1-   My husband is my number one supporter and my partner in crime. I am forever grateful for him.
He seriously laughs at all my craziness and always co-signs my crazy ideas like going for ice
cream when it's about 20 degrees outside. Haha!

2 - I thank God for His blessing everyday. I've always had a relationship with God but felt it got
stronger during my wedding process when we had to take pre-cana classes. My husband and I got
so involved with the church and felt so good. There's moments in my life when things out of my
control happen (good and bad) and I believe God always has a plan for you.

3 - I'm so thankful for my pup Brotis. He is the sweetest little pup and in so many ways has taught
me so much about myself. They say animals are the closest thing to having children and boy is that
true. He's taught me a lot of patience, which is something I struggle with. I love that puppy to the
     moon and back.

4 - I'm so happy to have my family and a selective amount of friends in my life. Family is everything
to me and that stems from how I was raised. So often I think we take family for granted but that's something I
cherish so much, even when they get on your nerves. Lol. Since moving down to D.C. I've made
some amazing friends and that's something I don't take for granted.

5- I'm grateful for you all! I can't say it enough but thank you for reading my blog and following me
on this journey. Whether you come for outfit inspiration, for a good laugh, or to read the latest on
    PK, Im thankful for that.

XO
