Boo!
With Halloween literally just around the corner I wanted to share with you guys an easy Halloween makeup tutorial for some last minute ideas. I must admit over the years I use to pay insane amounts for a costume but as I got older I realized I didn't have that luxury anymore and it just wasn't
worth spending so much on a costume that I was only going to wear once. I learned how to get creative and put together costumes without breaking the bank. This year my husband and I are creating a couple's DIY costume from one of our favorite movie! Can't wait to share it with you guys.

I'm not a last minute type of person when it comes to Halloween. I probably have been thinking about my costume since the summer. LOL! Halloween is truly one of my favorite times of the year; I love playing dress up and I love seeing everyone's creative costumes. Also, you don't need an excuse to stuff your face with massive chocolate because duh, Halloween.

Today's makeup tutorial is a half glam half skull, keep reading and see how to create this easy Halloween look with just a few steps!

Products used:
NYX Jumbo Pencil Crayon #604 Milk
Maybelline Master Kajal cream eyeliner in Onyx Rush
ColourPop creme gel eye liner in Swerve
Milani gel powder eyeshadow #07 Bella White
Maybelline The Nudes Pallete
E.L.F powder brush
L.A.B blending brush
Beau Gachis smudge-tache brush

I used all drugstore products to create this look and all you really need is the right brushes to blend everything in and a few makeup pencils and shadows. I've listed all the products above and will show you step by step how I used them.

I did my makeup as normal but only on one side of my face. The usual: foundation, concealer, filled in my eyebrows and contoured. It felt really weird applying my makeup to just one side of my face. For the eye I did a black smokey eye and blended it in with a little silver. I think a black smokey eye makes a great contrast to the "skull" side. Later on I added lashes and lipstick but for now this is a good start to the "glam" side

Create your base

First up I used the NYX crayon pencil and just made a line down the middle of my face. I dotted the entire side of my face and blended away with the E.L.F blending brush. To set everything in place once it was smooth all over my face I used the Milani eye shadow with the L.A.B brush.  I went in lightly but you can go in as dark as you want depending how you want your skull.

Draw your details

Now comes the fun part! I took the small ColourPop gel liner to draw in the details. First I drew the circle around my eye (over the eyebrow) then I drew small details on my forehead, cheekbones, mouth and half my nose. The lines don't have to be perfect because we are going to blend it all in.

Fill in the details and blend

Now it's time to fill in the details. To fill the circle around the eye I first went in with the Maybelline jumbo gel liner and to set it and make it darker I went in with the black shade from the Maybelline Nude palette.
Now it's time to blend. I think this is the most important step because the more you blend the better you face looks more defined giving it that boney skull look. I used the same black color in my Nudes palette that I used for the eye. I use the Beau Gachis brush and it's honestly one of my favorite brushes to blend. I received it in my Ipsy bag a few months ago and it's been my holy grail since.

Teeth and finishing touches

Now it's time to draw the teeth. I took the white Milani shadow to make the mouth area extra white so it could be defined. So from the half of your lips all the way to your cheekbones should all be a whiter shade than the rest of your face. To draw the teeth I used the small Colourpop gel liner and drew a line from the edge of lip to about my cheekbones. Then you can start to draw the teeth in. If you want the teeth to look darker with more detail I would recommend using liquid eyeliner to go over the pencil liner.

I added a little more detail around the eye and then finished up the "glam" side. I added falsies and my brightest red lipstick.
