Saturday Strolling

Last Saturday me and the hubs went out to do a little strolling downtown DC. We been pretty good a familiarizing our selves around the area we live so we decided to stroll a little further. We ended up around 14th street (Columbia Heights) in downtown DC and we found a lot of shopping stores and we came upon a Mexican restaurant as well called El Tio of DC. The food was delicious and they have happy hour everyday from 4-9. Happy hour and Mexican food is like a match made in heaven for me. One thing I love about DC is their food. There's so many restaurants and great brunch places to eat that I can't wait to try.

I wore something comfortable because I knew we would be doing a lot of walking. These booties were made for walking! Lol. They are so comfy and paired well with a denim midi skirt and a cozy knitted sweater. I added a few accessories like this leopard print scarf for a pop of print and a red shoulder bag to add a bold color.
