Visiting Washington D.C. For The First Time

I finally got a chance to upload my pics from when I went to DC over Labor Day weekend. DC was so much fun, I fell in love with the architecture. The structure of the buildings is very pretty. My husband and I had a little itinerary ready to explore as much as we could in 3 days. We made it there by bus, which was about a 4hr commute and we stood at The Westin hotel. Some of the places we explored were the FDR Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, the International Crime Museum, The Washington Monument and The White House. We, also, got to walk past the Potomac River; I don't know if any of you are movie buffs, but did you see XMen: Days Of Future Past? THAT's where Wolverine got flung by Magneto!

I haven't walked that much in such a long time, and it was the perfect preparation to get me back in the gym. lol
