Happy Monday, I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. The temperatures have been super duper cold but I been lucky enough that on my outfit shooting days the weather is 50 and warm. This crazy
weather I tell you. A couple of post ago I mentioned I wanted to change a few things wardrobe wise this year. I wanted to experiment new styles and change things up. I think a major component of that is heightening your style confidence. After all what's an outfit without know self-assurance behind it?

I might not be an expert but I do believe self-confidence plays a major role in achieving great style. The attitude behind your clothes can make or break your outfit. I've always been self conscious of wearing extra long cardigans because I always felt I was to short and I would look small and bulky. I decided to give this one I recently purchased from SheIn a try and ended up loving it. It's definitely out of my comfort zone but it didn't hurt in trying it. I already want to purchase it in multiple colors.
As far as the rest of the outfit, I paired it with a lace up sweater underneath, black pumps and some chic pieces like the hat and cat-eyed sunnies.

If you need a little boost in the style department here's 3 ways to boost your style confidence:

1. Expand your fashion comfort zone
You can train yourself to become more confident by taking baby steps. Try one small thing outside of your comfort zone until your comfort zone is being enough to try multiple different things.

2. Develop/ define your own style
It's great to get inspired by others but you should define your own style. If there's something that makes your style unique then make that your signature style.

3. Feel secure about your outfit choice
I think we all our experimenting with style but if you are not 100% sure about your outfit, chances are your confidence will drop once you leave the door. Own your outfit, confidence is the backbone to your outfit.
