Hope you guys have had a great start to the year. There's something just so refreshing about starting a new year, new month, and new week. Let's do this!
The temperatures have finally started to match the season here. I got a little use to the Fall-Springy weather last month that I was a little mad I had to grab my coat over the weekend. I wore this outfit for a little DC strolling while me and my husband waited for our fur baby, Brotis to get his first haircut. It was a chilly afternoon and this coat keep my butt warm. Printed coats are the best for winter! They make a stylish statement since that's the outer layer of your outfit. Houndstooth is one of my favorite prints, so chic. I paired a basic pair of black jeans underneath with a sheer teal top. I love the (faux) leather details on the collar, gives it a nice touch of chic. I added a pair of black booties and this cross body purse I got for Christmas from my sister. (Thanks sis!) You're definitely going to be seeing this cute little bag more on the blog.
Try a statement coat this winter, weather it be a nice bold color, print or trim. It will definitely help spruce up your winter outfits.
