Winter Essentials

Hi Everyone, Happy Tuesday! One day closer to the weekend. :)

Since it's getting colder and we can't escape the cold unless we board a plane to a very warm place (who doesn't love to travel!?), I wanted to talk about winter essentials. Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean we can't bundle up in style.

I love pea coats; they are stylish and give a subtle finished look with either tall boots, mid calf boots or ankle boots. Today's fashion tip: don't be afraid to use color in the winter. I love royal blue, red and grey in pea costs and they look very fashionable. With the right scarf and hat, you can keep warm AND have a modish look. With these essentials, you  are ready to walk out the door. The majority of the pea coats I've bought are from H&M and they usually run about $50-$60 but they are definitely worth their price. They keep you warm, they last long and provide fashion forward details.
Here are some more Winter essentials for you guys: tall boots, comfortable sweaters and scarves. Also, now that the holidays are upon us faux leather as a material is totally in. Faux leather long pants, faux leather shirts, and even faux leather shorts are on my winter must haves list. Yes, shorts in the winter! Shorts can not only be worn in the summer, but if put together right you can absolutely rock them in the winter. They work well with leggings and either tall boots or thigh highs. If you couple a stylish shirt with some accessories, you now have yourself a fab holiday outfit. There are so many chic leggings with prints that can really funk up an outfit. Mandees, Joyce Leslie and Love Culture are some of my favorite stores that have very fly leggings.

I, also, wanted to share with you guys this awesome Michael Kors winter coat I bought at Burlington Coat Factory for $60. I'm not really into brand name clothing, but if you are looking for name brand clothing at an affordable price I suggest you visit Burlington Coat Factory. If you have the patience to look through racks you can find designer names at affordable prices. I really love this coat because it has many pockets, a faux fur hood and pink insulated lining on the inside. You guys know i'm bias to pink, and the pink makes the coat really cute.

Winter is all about layers, and just because it's cold doesn't mean you can't layer up in style. I hope these winter essentials and tips help you guys remain stylish during the cold season. I hope you'll come back to Patty's Kloset soon.
