As I'm writing this post I just realized I have never had a kimono in my closet before. This floral print kimono dress from Lookbook Store is a great way to start adding a few to my wardrobe. It comes with a removable sash belt but I loved it instantly with the belt on to create a waistline. Something I noticed about this kimono dress when I was trying it on in my Lookbook try-on haul video was that this piece could be used so many different ways. I tried it on with an open front and definitely envisioned it with a swimsuit. It makes a perfect cover-up for the beach or pool! I also felt it could be used as a cardigan with tights or a skirt. You guys know I like to repurpose my wardrobe so this floral kimono dress will definitely get its bang for its buck!
If you're wondering about the fit I would say it's a great dress for summer because it fits comfortable and also feels breathable and light. It's under $25 so it's an affordable piece! Lookbook Store also sells pieces on Amazon so you can see this one and many more over there.
One thing I must admit is that when I tried it on without any shoes or accessories I felt like I had a night gown on. Lol. Once I added accessories and shoes the dress totally changed! It's crazy what accessories can do! I paired it with these green slip on wedges from Amiclubwear which are the most comfortable pair of shoes. I love the clear heel and the pretty earth green color. I love these shoes so much I also got them with a leopard print!
