The Joker | Halloween Makeup Tutorial

Every year I love to do a fun Halloween look on the blog to share with you guys. If you are new here then you should know this girl loves Halloween and I have been dressing up for every Halloween since I was little. Even as an adult I still found Halloween to be fun. Funny story about last year, my husband and I wanted to be The Joker and Harley Quinn but the reverse. I was going to be the female joker and I was going to do this look last year. I was going to glam it up and give it my own touch. However, I was pregnant last Halloween but didn't even know it. I was soooo tired and blamed it on work because I was so busy around that time with the blog. We ended up skipping Halloween and for the first time I didn't dress up. I should of known something was up because I missed Halloween lol. Of course weeks after we found out I was pregnant. So this year I did the female joker. I didn't do it glam like I had intended but I still loved the way it came out. Halloween is so fun!

Here's a quick tutorial on this look and forgive me for missing a few frames but doing this makeup with a baby wasn't easy. So mamma forgot to snap a few pics in the process.

I purchased a face paint kit from Five below and applied the white all over my face in a very messy way. That's the beauty of this makeup, the messier the better it looks. When applying it on my forehead I tried to scrunch up my face so that the forehead lines would show but for some reason they didn't want to come out. I guess I've done a good job at taking care of those pesky forehead wrinkles lol.

Next I used Maybelline's Master Kajal Eyeliner in black to make a circle over my eyes (to the top of my brows) and started to blend that in. To give it more depth I used a blending brush and any black eye shadow to smoke out the edges of the circle. Again the messier the better!

For the scars on the lips I really wanted to go all out and buy the special effect glue to really make me look like I have a real scars but I couldn't find it in stores. I used Ofra's Liquid lipstick in "Atlantic City" and over drew my lips a bit. Then took a black liner to draw the scars. I used a blending brush to smoke out the black to give it some depth and make it look like real scars as best as possible. Then I took a skinny angled brush and dipped it in the lipstick and went over the scars. Lastly, the paint kit from Five Below came with a small bottle of fake blood and I added that over the scars and around my lips.
