My husband and I have been living in the D.C. area for three years now and there's so much to see and do in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. Every year I tell my husband I want to explore and be a tourist in our city the minute the weather gets warm. For some reason, every year that never happens LOL and I don't know why. I love exploring even if it's a local area. Today I'm sharing a few fun things I want to do this spring and that's if spring ever comes. The weather has been so horrible lately, I'm hoping the warm weather comes soon. I would love to do these things before the summer and my belly gets so big I'm just a waddling duck.

1. Cherry Blossom

Cherry Blossom season in D.C. is such a gorgeous thing to see. Going down by the Tidal Basin to see them is amazing. I always see beautiful pictures and wish I was there. I know it's a commitment to wake up early and take the Metro because that area gets crazy crowded but I'm hoping this year we get to go.

2. Sunset on the Lincoln Memorial

Have you ever seen the movie Wedding Crashers when Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn fall asleep on the Lincoln Memorial steps? Lol, it's one of my favorite movies and I would love to catch a sunset on the Lincoln Memorial steps. I've seen so many beautiful images of the sunset from those steps, I've had major envy and would love to see it with my own eyes.

3. Brunch by the Waterfront

The Georgetown waterfront has so many amazing places to eat and I would love to have brunch with a view. That waterfront reminds me of South Street port in NYC.

4. Trolley Ride

In Alexandria, Va my husband discovered free trolley rides happening! I would love to feel like I'm in San Francisco and ride a trolley!
