Spice Up The Classic White Blouse

As much as I love trendy pieces I never forget about classic pieces for my wardrobe like a white blouse. I mean they are versatile because they basically pair with anything for any occasion.  I recently received this one and it's far from your basic white blouse. I love how minor details can spice up a simple top.

First off I must ask, doesn't the background in these pictures look like Hogwarts? I didn't realize that until I started editing and I think my sunglasses definitely helped me blend in with the whole Harry Potter background. LOL I'm honestly not even mad at that because I love HP! I actually became a HP fan not to long ago. I had never watched any of the movies and I binged watch all of them with my husband (a huge Potter fan) a few months ago and now I'm obsessed!

I was super excited to style this top and share the pretty little details. I love how it's a mix of classic with a little bit of trendy. The neckline is a bit off the shoulder giving off some of that cold shoulder action and the sleeves have a bit of a flare. Statement sleeves are huge and this blouse has a nice subtle statement sleeve vibe going on. I paired it with a pair of colored denim and simple black pumps. I felt the outfit was still missing something so I added a bow neck cocker and it worked perfectly. Now, can we talk about this purse? You've probably seen it a few times on my Insta because I'm so obsessed with it. BCBG is going out of business and they have a huge sale going on. Lucky for me there's a store walking distance from my apartment. I found this beauty at major sale and you guys know I love a good deal! It was originally $88 and I snagged it up for a little under $20. Don't you just love a good deal?

I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try these round frame glasses. I'm more of an aviator style girl but I'm glad I tried something different because I kind of like this style. So don't be afraid to try something out of your style comfort zone because you might end up liking it.
