Game Night: DIY Decorations

Happy humpday!

Today's post is a fun one. We recently hosted game night at our house for the first time and it was so much fun. I knew I wanted to to a little bit more than just serve chips and food. I went on Pinterest (as always) and looked up some game night decor. Boy was there a lot of ideas on there! I jotted down and few and gave myself a little DIY project. I never met a DIY project I didn't like. Lol. I love crafting and creating things myself. I feel like in some weird way crafting just calms me and I love the outcome of making pretty little things.

One of the first things I crafted were the danglers with fake money and playing cards. That really gave it a very game night vibe. I hung them over the hallway of our house so that would be the first thing our guest would see. They were so easy to make. I purchased a pack of fake money, cards and thin rope at the dollar store. All you have to do is puncture a small hole at the end of each card and play money and loop the rope through each hole. You can make it as long or as short as you like.
I also bought small goody boxes in the dollar store and ended up cutting them. I wanted to make little candy boxes for snacks because who doesn't like to munch on candy while playing games.

We divided ourselves into two teams and unfortunately my team didn't win in neither of the games. Lol. Epic fail for my team. We definitely want to host game night again we sure had a blast and lots of laughs.

Hope you guys enjoyed today's post. Thanks for stopping by!
