Pop of Neon

Happy humpday guys!
I can't wait for this weekend because it's my bachelorette weekend! yeahhhh!
24 more days until the big day!

Enough wedding talk now; lets get to today's outfit.

I wore this outfit this past weekend to my cousin's graduation. I LOVE this dress. I found it at H&M a few months ago on sale for $15. I remember contemplating on getting it because I had dresses at home that I hadn't worn yet so I knew I didn't need another dress. I'm glad I ended up getting it anyway because it worked great for my cousins event. It has such a classic look with the perfect midi length. You can't tell in the pictures but around the neckline it has a little bit of ruching.
I didn't want to add much jewelry to the look; in fact all I wore were stud earrings and then I wore my hair in a bun to give the dress a classier feel.
I decided to wear these neon heels to give the outfit a pop of color. Man, are these shoes bright! I love them. Everyone complimented me on my shoes but I think it's because you can't miss them from a mile away lol. To finish the look, I wore a black clutch with a gold trim and a bold magenta lip color.

Dress - H&M
Shoes - Charlotte Russe (here)
Clutch - Rainbow Shops
Lipstick - Wet n' Wild 965 Cherry Picking/ Velvet Lipgloss - Forever21 (fuchsia)

I wanted to share a quick story from my cousin's graduation that still has been on my mind. One of her fellow graduating classmates was supposed to graduate this past Saturday but unfortunately was in a car crash 2 days before and passed away. It was such a heartbreaking sight to see the family at the ceremony not being able to see her walk on stage and get her degree. Her mom was brave and walked the stage when they called her daughter's name and she walked the stage while holding her daughter's cap and gown in hand.

With that said, remember that life is short, don't take anything or anyone for granted, appreciate the little things in life  for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things.

Thanks for reading. Much #love.
