The Bargainista

Hi guys!
I wanted to do a different post today. I'm constantly asked ... you paid how much for that... how did you find that.... how do you find these deals. So I wanted to share a few of my tips on how I bargain. Let's face it, who doesn't like a good deal? Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with paying for a high priced item if its worth the quality and if it's going to be a piece that can be worn again and again. However, here are some tips on how I bargain and get more for my buck.

 In store

Whenever I go shopping in stores I always go to the sale section first if they have one. I like to start there because you never know what you can find. Sometimes I can find everything I came to look for in the store in the sale section. I feel people are very afraid of sales racks because they are never neat. If you have the patience, take your time and look through the racks, you'd be surprised at all the good stuff in those messy racks. Also, I've noticed that the early bird gets the worm literally. lol. A lot of department stores, such as Macy's and JC Penney, have morning sales but only until noon or a specific time. Don't be afraid to use coupons; my friends call me coupon lady. lol One of the best feelings in the world for me is knowing I saved myself money on a sale and on top of that with a coupon. Lastly, don't be afraid to take advantage of Holiday sales. There's always lots of mark downs during and around a holiday.

Online

Who else is an online shopping victim ? I l know I am. I love to take advantage of online deals. I always sign up for email coupons. You always get up to date sales plus sometimes for signing up with your email address they will give you a percent off your first purchase. So if you have more than one email address, there's your chance to get some percent off a few purchases. Also, before I check out online I always check for any coupon codes; sometimes they work sometimes they don't but it's always worth a try. RetailMeNot is a good website to get coupons online and for in store use.

I hope you guys enjoyed my how to bargain post!
