The Best Dress For The Summer Heat

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

shift dress, summer, dresses, summer outfits

Summer is one of my favorite seasons. I know it might sound crazy to some but I actually enjoy the heat. DC has been really hot you guys! The humidity makes the air un-breathable and that's the part of summer I hate also because the humidity and my hair just don't go together. I've left my house looking like a poodle quite a few times.

Happy Monday guys!
Time to jumpstart a new week and kick it in the butt!

What are your mornings like? Today, I am sharing my bold moments with LISTERINE and taking you firsthand into my morning routine. Oral hygiene has always been so important, and even more so as I've gotten older. When I was kid, my mom instilled in me the importance of taking care of your teeth and gums. I guess that's why I never had to use braces and always got that coveted good feedback every time I went to the dentist. Thanks mom!

A Parisian Look

I wore this outfit on my last day in Paris and I was really trying to go for a Parisian look.

Black & White Stripes

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend. I unfortunately spent it taking care of a sick hubby and was a little sick myself. We had a very chilled weekend at home watching One Tree hill on Netflix. I really forgot how good that show was.

48 Hours In Paris | What To See And Do

Friday, July 15, 2016

This is my last travel post for the week. Our last stop was to Paris for two nights. The first day there we arrived super late due to major traffic. One thing I quickly learned about Paris, is that the traffic gave NY a run for its money lol. It's a super congested city. We made the best of the first night in Paris and headed into town to eat. That night France had won a game in the Euro Cup so the streets were crowded with chanting fans. I thought Yankee fans were bad but boy France represents their country lol.

Exploring The Beautiful City Of Amsterdam

Wednesday, July 13, 2016

Today I'm recapping one of my favorite cities from my trip... Amsterdam! I fell in love with this city, the people, the food, the culture and just overall beautiful streets. After London we took a ferry and crossed boarders where we then took a bus to Amsterdam. We passed Belgium which was nice to see and we also learned you need to pay to use the bathroom in every rest stop. It was only like .50, .60 cents but still it was just real funny to me.

A London Itinerary For A First-Timer

Tuesday, July 12, 2016

Feels like forever since my last post. So excited to be back from my 12 day Euro trip and share it with you guys. There's something about coming back from vacation that makes me feel refreshed and inspired. I won't lie I still feel a little tired from adjusting to the time difference. Lol. Guess it will take me a while. Our first stop was London and we spent two nights there. The flight was 6 hours and it didn't feel so bad. Usually flights longer than 4 hours for me I start to go bonkers but this one was pretty smooth. (Thanks Virgin Atlantic). We stood at The Kensington Close Hotel, which was in a pretty good location. We were near a shopping area and the train station.
