Monday Blooms

Hi guys!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

The best outfits always are always the ones that are unplanned and just come about. I really love this outfit because I feel it looks a little the 1970's. I've had these white linen pants for a while, and I honestly think this is the first time I've dressed them up like this. I usually wear them in the spring or summer with sandals and a tank top but this time? I totally went with the opposite look.

I had no idea what shirt I wanted to pair them with but I just knew I wanted throw a little red in the mix. I've worn this floral shirt  before on the blog, so I wanted to re-wear it and it fit perfect with the pants. I didn't want to add too much accessories to the look; I wanted to keep it simple and classic.

To finish the look I went with these peep toe wedges. They are so comfy. I love to wear them when I want to dress up but know I might be doing a little walking. The have an ankle strap as well so they look well with skirts. Lastly, I added this nude clutch, which I've been loving so much. This time, I took the strap out and wore it over the shoulder. Fashion tip: utilize your versatile pieces in every different way imaginable. Just because you've never thought it looks good doesn't mean it won't. Be fashionably fearless!

TGIF lovlies!
Cheers to the weekend. I will drink to that!

I'm really loving this outfit because it has a little bit of all my favorites in one; coral, leopard and distressed denim. I’ve been dying to bring out this blazer from the Kloset. I've had it for a while because I had found it in the sales rack during the winter for 7 bucks!! I still can't believe it was only 7 bucks. I love the ripped detail in the back; I've never had a blazer with such detail, so this was a must buy. The coral color was so bright I felt it look well with light colored denim so I paired them with this high waisted pair. I really went all out with the coral by matching it with my lipstick AND shoes. I got these shoes as a gift from my bridal shower, and boy am I in love with these! They are just perfect. I really can't wait to rock them again and again.
To finish the look, I wanted to bring a different element with this leopard clutch. I felt it added a little extra something to the outfit. I, also, wore this amazing cuff bracelet that I found in Forever21. Talk about letting your arm make a statement. Lastly, I wore this adorable bow necklace! I'm currently obsessing over bows and am on the hunt for some cute shoes with a nice big bow on them!

Modcloth Uniquely You

Thursday, April 24, 2014

Happy Thursday!

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear “spring?” When I hear the word “spring,” my mind involuntarily thinks of pastels, florals and very feminine pieces.

I love this Bouquet of the Season dress from Modcloth. It's very feminine with a sweetheart neckline and sheer flowy material. I feel like we should all have feminine dresses in our kloset, especially for the weather the change of season brings. They make the perfect outfit for any occasion, whether it’s a stroll in the park or a dinner date.

Everyone always associates florals with spring; in fact, some people even find it cliché. However, a floral dress can take your kloset from bleak to chic in one swift motion. Adding flawless accessories to this dress can put the last touches on the perfect dress look.

These nude wedges work perfect for the look I’m thinking of. It kind of lets the dress do all the talking by pairing it with rather simple shoes. For accessories, I added these simple colored and studded flower earrings. The color really contrasts well with the print. As a substitute for a bold necklace, which will take away from the feminine look you’re going for, the simple earrings with this casual knot cuff will do the trick. Lastly, this small light coral purse is the picture perfect touch.
All the pieces to this cute little ensemble, as well as many more cute spring dresses, can be found at Modcloth. Happy shopping!

Vibrant Hues

Happy humpday!
This is what I wore this past Sunday for Easter. I wanted to share my outfit details on the blog.

I purchased this skirt over the weekend on Saturday at H&M; this was my first opportunity to put my bridal shower gift cards to good use. I was originally looking for a full midi skirt but had no luck. When I saw this bright yellow skirt I was immediately drawn to the color. Perfect color for the spring so I had to take it! I must admit this outfit just kind of came together. I knew I wanted to wear a skirt on Easter Sunday to church so I worked my way around the skirt. I decided to go for a bright color block look. I told my fiancĂ© that I was color blocking for the Lord. He thought it was pretty funny. The royal blue blouse color blocked perfect with the yellow. Don't be afraid to try some bright hues this spring.
What better shoes to go with this outfit than these colorful Prabal Gurung pumps? I sometimes forget I have these babies, and it's time to bring them out much more this spring. They are stylish and comfortable. To finish the look I paired it with a nude clutch, since the outfit had two bright hues working with each other.

Skirt - H&M
Blouse - Charlotte Russe
Shoes - Prabal Gurung for Target
Clutch - gifted - get it here

Hope you guys enjoyed this colorful post and that I've brightened up your day. Thanks for stopping by and reading!
Have a great rest of the week.

Pastels & Florals

Monday, April 21, 2014

Happy Monday!
How was everyone's Easter weekend? Weather was perfect. I went to church and I loved seeing all the little kids dressed up; they were just too adorable.

I wore this outfit on Saturday and it was my first official day of not being sick. I felt 100% and I wanted to dress up. Since the weather was so springy I brought out these pastel yellow jeans. They can be paired so many ways; this time I paired them with a floral peplum top. I've had this top for a while. I found it off the clearance rack at Mandee for $5.99. It's such a feminine yet simple top. It matched perfectly against the pastel yellow pants.
To finish the look I added a little neutral to the mix. These gladiator heels are my current favorites. They are comfortable and oh so sexy! I love all the details, especially the buckles. I matched them with this gorg Galian Handbag clutch. As the weather gets warmer I tend to wear more clutch style handbags versus a tote style.

Bridal Shower Fun

Wednesday, April 16, 2014

Happy humpday guys!
Sorry that I've been a little MIA on the blog but I've been crazy sick. It sucks that my cold started this past weekend while I had my bridal shower, but I managed to make it through the day and have fun.
I wanted to share with you guys what I wore and few fun pics from the event.

Dress - Forever21 (found on the sales rack for $11.98!)
Earrings - Wet Seal
Shoes - Cicihot

The theme color was black and pink. These yummy sweets were made my my lovely grandma. From shoe chocolates to cookies and cupcakes they were all so delicious.

Oh hey, just sitting on my shoe throne. lol I love this big shoe chair. It was a gift from my mom. I love that you can open it up and store stuff inside. Great idea to store my summer sandals in there.
If you're wondering what happened to my white shoes I had on, boy where those uncomfortable. I brought a change of shoes just in case. These cute brown buckle babies are from Charlotte Russe, and they can be found here

We had a raffle going around for a chance to win a DSW gift card and all proceeds went to my "shoe fund" lol. I knew all those shoe-a-holic cards from Lolashoetique would come in handy one day.

I'm very grateful for everyones gifts. Here are some of the shoe goodies I got. I'm so in love with all the gifts. People really know my style!

Hope you guys enjoyed this fun post. I'm surprised how well I managed to stand the whole night although I was sick. lol I hope I can shake this cold off asap so I can get a ootd up on the blog this weekend.

Spring with Peter Pilotto

Friday, April 11, 2014

Happy Friday!!!
This is going to be a great weekend.
Do you guys have anything fun planned?

I finally wore another piece from the Peter Pilotto for Target collaboration. I bought 3 pieces and this is the 2nd one I'm wearing on the blog. Can I just say that it's one of my favorites? The Peter Pilotto prints for this collection were so floral and bold. I loved it! I'm a big fan of trousers, palazzo and wide legged pants. They are just so comfy! I love how these pants elongate my legs. I'm 5'1 and the pants with the wedges really made me look tall. It felt good being tall for one day lol. I originally wanted to pair the pants with a red top just to play around with the color a bit more but I thought I had one in my Kloset. Note to self: need more red tops. I've been re-using the pieces in my Kloset as much as possible because my wedding is right around the corner. Once I get back from my honeymoon this girl right here is going on a shopping spree. :)
Anywho, I paired the pants with a white crop top since the pants were a bit high waisted and I added a neon greenish yellow necklace to pop. I was all about colors! To finish the look, I went with my favorite mirror sunnies and a pair of wedges.

Pants - Peter Pilotto for Target (here on sale)
Clutch and sunnies - Forever21
Necklace - Charlotte Russe
Wedges - super old - similar (here)

There's a few things from this collection on sale on Target's site if anyone is looking for select pieces.
Thanks for reading dolls!
I'm excited for this weekend and my shoe themed bridal shower. Can't wait to share pics with you guys.

Have a lovely and safe weekend!!
